Dr Bhavisha Vasta

Is a Consultant Rheumatologist at South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust. She offers private appointments at Nuffield Health Warwickshire Hospital, The Stratford Clinic and Spire Southbank Hospital Worcester.

Dr Vasta read medicine at Cambridge University and University College London, having graduated with a Distinction. She completed her specialist rheumatology training at the Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases in Bath, working with some of the foremost authorities in this field.

Dr Vasta firmly believes in early investigation and management of rheumatic conditions as she understands how debilitating they can be. Her clinical practice encompasses the whole spectrum of rheumatic disease. 

At South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust she runs General Rheumatology, Osteoporosis and Early Inflammatory Arthritis Clinics. She is the Clinical Lead for Osteoporosis Services. Dr Vasta uses musculoskeletal ultrasound to facilitate diagnosis and monitoring of arthritis. She is also skilled in joint and soft tissue injection therapy. 

Dr Vasta holds a postgraduate qualification in medical education and is actively involved in medical student teaching and the supervision of doctors in training.
